Johnny Rolt and Ollie Campbell have made a short film about their experiences volunteering with us in Thórsmörk last summer. As well as a taste of life at the volunteer camps, the film visits our projects and worksites in Thórsmörk, Goðaland and along the Laugavegurinn trail. Congratulations to Johnny and Ollie on this amazing work. It’s beautiful!

Placement dates and application forms for our 2018 volunteer programme are now available.
We are putting together an international volunteer team that will join us at our camps in Thórsmörk next summer. We have volunteer placements for two or six weeks and there are longer placements for volunteer team leaders with our Operations team. No previous experience of trail construction is necessary as training will be provided. Participants organise their own travel plans and join us at the meeting point. There is no participation fee.
We will start allocating placements as soon as applications reach us so if you would like to join us in Thórsmörk in 2018, don’t delay!
Applications will be open from December 15th to January 31st.
